8 Great FS22 Lime Spreader Mods

The problem with the base game lime spreaders in Farming Simulator 22 (FS22) is that they are expensive. Another problem is that only the trailed Bredal spreaders add lime to the fields.

The Solution?

Mods! Below you’ll see some of the best FS22 lime spreader mods. Some are a lot cheaper than the Bredal spreaders. Some of them can also be mounted directly to your tractor.

1. Amazone ZG-TS 10001/2

This is the fertilizer and lime version of the base game Amazone ZG-TS 10001/2 spreader. The modder has added liming capabilities and a more spacious hopper.

Another cool feature of the modded Amazone is that you can change the colors of the body, rims, and cover.

Spreaders that allow the spreading of lime and solid fertilizer will typically have different spreading widths. The lime spreading width is often lesser than the width of dry fertilizer.

This isn’t an issue with this Amazone spreader. Both lime and fertilizer can be spread in 15–42 meter swaths.

In other words, few FS22 spreaders can match the lime spreading width of this mod.

• Capacity: 18.5 m³.
• Work width: 15–42 m.
• Accepts: Lime, solid fertilizer.

2. Jacto Tellus 10000

Here you have the Jacto Tellus 10000 fertilizer and lime spreader. Jacto is a Brazilian company and one of the world’s largest farming equipment manufacturers.

The Tellus 1000 has different spreading widths, depending on what is put inside the hopper:

• Lime: 12 meters.
• Fertilizer 36 meters.

Inside the shop, you won’t find many configuration options to buy. You can select wheels from different brands, and that’s all.

However, the model looks good. The modder has done a good job creating an FS22 replica of the spreader.

It has a big hopper of 10,000 liters. Still, smaller tractors from 110 horsepower and up will have no problem pulling the spreader.

• Base price: 80,000.
• Capacity: 10 m³.
• Work width: 12 and 36 m.
• Accepts: Lime, solid fertilizer.
• Modder: Jacto.
• Platforms: All.

3. Lizard 6 Ton Fertilizer Spreader

I honestly think this is one of the coolest-looking spreaders in FS22. The Lizard Farming 6 Ton spreader is a terrific model, a sight for picky eyes.

It’s also tiny. It’ll fit perfectly behind small tractors, like the Kubota M5 and M6 series. Even some of the larger Antonio Carraro tractors pull the spreader with ease.

However, tiny tractors will feel the pain if you buy the largest hopper extension, which increases the capacity from 6,000 to 25,000 liters.

Also, hooking up small vehicles to the drawbar results in a fun animation, with most of the tractors being jacked up significantly.

Don’t worry, though. The rear of the tractors will feel the ground once the support leg has been lifted.

This spreader does also have varying spreading widths for each fill type:

• Lime: 12–18 meters.
• Fertilizer: 24–48 meters.

When you’re going to buy the spreader, you’re presented with several configuration options:

• It has no less than 7 different wheel setups.
• Hopper extensions: 9,000 and 25,000 liters.
• Color options for most parts of the tool.

And yes, you can use it as a salt spreader during the snowy months.

• Base price: 12,200.
• Capacity: 6–25 m³.
• Work width: 12–48 m.
• Accepts: Lime, solid fertilizer.
• Modder: 82Studio.
• Platforms: All.

4. Kuhn Axis 402

This is the Kuhn Axis 402 spreader mod for FS22. It helps you add mineral fertilizer to your fields. You can also use it for lime spreading.

The shop options include the following choices:

• 4 different capacity settings: 1,400, 1,900, 2,700, and 3,200 liters.
• It’s possible to install mudguards on the spreader.
• You can also mount a trailer hitch to the rear side.
• It’s possible to buy a cover.
• Transport wheels on a separate frame can be added too.

The spreading area for lime can be as wide as 42 meters, 138 feet.

Because of the relatively small hopper, the Kuhn spreader will consume a load of lime pretty fast, though.

5. Bredal F2WS4000

Talking about Bredal… The tractor-mounted Bredal F2WS4000 Farming Simulator 22 lime spreader (and fertilizer spreader) is considerably cheaper than its trailed brothers.

The downside is that you need to refill it more often because of the much smaller hopper.

42 Meters

The reduced hopper size isn’t something I think about because the working width is a massive 42 meters.

One of my favorite features of using the Bredal F2WS4000 as a lime spreader is how it’s possible to use it with the variable spreading width feature.

6. Bergmann TSW 7340S

Sure, the Bergmann TSW 7340S is, first and foremost, a manure spreader. However, as some real-world manure spreaders allow, you can also use it to spread lime.

Yes, it’s definitively one of the most expensive FS22 lime spreaders, costing almost 100,000. It’s also one of the largest spreaders, with a capacity of nearly 30,000 liters.

In other words, you’ll cover a vast amount of ground before you must refill it.

Easier Access

The optional right-side top door is what I like the most about the Bergmann spreader. You can lower it, giving front loaders and wheel loaders easier access.

• Note that if you have Trailer Fill Limit activated, the total lime capacity is just over 16,300 liters.

7. Kverneland Exacta EL Pack

The Kverneland Exacta EL acts as a combi spreader in FS22. It’ll let you spread both lime and fertilizer. For lime spreading, it’s one of the cheapest options in the game.

The spreader will distribute lime in a width of up to 45 meters. An obvious drawback for some players is the minimal hopper capacity of just 1,000 liters.

If you choose this spreader, you must drive to and from the fields refilling quite a lot. That’s why I prefer to use the Kverneland to spread lime on the smallest of my fields.

8. Amazone ZGB 6002

Hopper capacity isn’t such an issue with the trailed Amazone ZGB 6002 combined fertilizer and lime spreader. You can fill it with up to 6,000 liters of lime.

Nor is it costly, costing only 21.700. So, what’s the catch, you might ask?

It’s the spreading width. While others let you spread lime in widths of more than 40 meters, you only get a working width of 12 meters with this one.

However, I’m not too bothered by the lesser spreading capabilities. The Amazone spreader is still great, especially regarding the lower number of required refilling pauses.

Other great features are the option to add different wheels to the chassis and a cover to the hopper.
