6 of the Best FS22 Forklift Mods

A forklift (aka a fork truck, lift truck, or forklift truck) is not the most common vehicle on real-world farms.

However, thanks to the introduction of production chains and factories in Farming Simulator 22, they have become indispensable tools in the game.

There aren’t too many forklift mods out there (yet.) That doesn’t mean there aren’t some gems waiting to get into your mods folder.

Here are some of the best FS22 forklift mods right now:

1. Lizard S-series 25D

Here’s the lovely little Lizard S-series 25D forklift. In the real world, forklifts like this one carry the Clark brand. I’m guessing Giants Software doesn’t have the license for Clark equipment in FS22.

Nonetheless, the model looks astonishing. There are several animations of levers, pedals, and gauges.

Inside the shop, the following options are what you can play around with:

  • Wheels from different manufacturers.
  • A lot of color options for parts of the body and the wheel’s rims.
  • You can also buy a safety warning light for the rear of the overhead guard.

The pallet fork is fixed to the forklift; you can’t switch attachments. However, the fork is long enough to carry two pallets, which is a plus.

The Clark… Ehm… sorry, the Lizard 25D is a great mod. Hopefully, Giants can secure a proper license for the next game.

  • Base price: 37,000.
  • Horsepower: 72.
  • Max speed: 43 kph, 27 mph.
  • Engine: Diesel.
  • Modder: Pascal Kautz.
  • Platforms: All.

2. JCB Teletruk

Is it a forklift? Is it a telehandler? Well, it’s both, kind of. It’s the JCB Teletruk. You see, in 1997, JCB developed this unique machine.

Instead of equipping it with a traditional mast, it got a telescopic boom. The result was a forklift with a greater vertical reach than most of its counterparts.

This is also the case in FS22. None of the other forklifts in the game reaches as high as the Teletruk.

Another benefit of the telescopic boom is the view from the driver’s seat. Mast beams do not obstruct it.

You won’t squeal with joy over all the customization options in the shop, though. You can add a different color to all non-black parts, nothing more.

Nevertheless, don’t let the lack of shop options hold you back. This is by far one of the best forklifts you can get in Farming Simulator 22.

Oh, the attachments? The JCB works with skid-steer loader tools.

  • Base price: 48,000.
  • Horsepower: 62.
  • Max speed: 20 kph, 12 mph.
  • Engine: Diesel.
  • Modder: RossN Mods.
  • Platforms: All.

3. Jungheinrich EFG S50 Telefork

The base game’s Jungheinrich EFG S50 Telefork is an awesome vehicle. However, it doesn’t offer much regarding shop options.

Cue the modded version of the EFG S50. It’s the same model but with a lot more shopping decisions to be made:

  • You can buy covers above the rear wheels.
  • There’s a protective guard available that you can put between the forks and the mast.

And that’s not all. There are also three options for the reverse driving warning device (red lights, blue lights, or a beacon light.) Note that the beacon light doesn’t light up automatically. You have to ignite it manually.

My favorite feature is the telescopic forks. You can extend them to make room for three pallets across.

So yes, this mod is much more than some XML file fiddling. It completes the largest Jungheinrich fork truck. I hope Giants Software takes notice.

  • Base price: 55,000.
  • Horsepower: 57.
  • Max speed: 17 kph, 11 mph.
  • Engine: Electric.
  • Modder: HR Forst und Fahrzeugbau.
  • Platforms: All.

4. Manitou MC

Yes, this is a modded version of the Manitou MC forklift truck that came with FS22. You can’t do anything with the original. The modded version, however, has lots of stuff you can customize:

  • There are three different masts available.
  • Max lifting heights are 3.3, 3.7, and 4.5 meters.
  • Two different engines, the MC 18-4 and the MC 25-4.
  • Several wheel setups, front singles, front duals, and rear wheel weights.

Some of the wheel options are valuable for heavy lifts. Putting twin wheels to the front and weights on the rear wheels makes the forklift almost 3 tons heavier.

If you wonder where the pallet forks are, check inside the Miscellaneous part of the Tools section. You’ll find them there.

All in all, a brilliant mod. I think it’s the most versatile forklift in FS22.

  • Base price: From 37,000.
  • Horsepower: From 36–50.
  • Max speed: 25 kph, 16 mph.
  • Engine: Diesel.
  • Modder: Kyosho.
  • Platforms: All.

5. Linde Forklift Pack

The Linde Forklift Pack is the most content-rich FS22 forklift mod. This is what you get:

  • One Linde H40 electric forklift.
  • A diesel version of the H40.
  • There’s also an electric Linde H30 in the pack.

You’ll also find some attachments in the Telehandler Tools section:

  • Two pallet forks, one of which is extended. You can lift two, maybe three pallets at once.
  • A Linde High-Tip shovel bucket. The capacity is 2,500 liters.

All the vehicles and tools come with color options. The forklifts can have different wheels and logos, as well.

My only objection against this pack of Linde forklifts is the 3D models. They look like they are made for FS2013, not FS22.

If you can look beyond the outdated models, you’ll get a great pack of forklifts for your pallet handling needs.

  • Base price: From 32,500.
  • Horsepower: From 70.
  • Max speed: 35 kph, 22 mph.
  • Engine: Diesel and electric.
  • Modder: RemRaf.
  • Platforms: PC and Mac.

6. Lizard LZ-45

The Lizard LZ-45 is most likely the most effective forklift in FS22. It has two pairs of pallet forks. You can transport two pallets side by side simultaneously.

It’s easy to control the double set of forks with a mouse or a controller.

Of course, you don’t have to use it with two pallets. If you use it with one pallet at a time, move the forks back to the starting position.

If you’re willing to put up the money for the LZ-45 in the shop, you have some buying choices to consider:

  • You can buy a trailer hitch for the rear of the forklift, which is nice.
  • It’s possible to buy a safety warning light for reverse driving.
  • Choose between Mitas and Nokian wheels.

This is one of my favorite FS22 forklift mods. It’s a great 3D model, and I love all the animations, like how the chain moves when the mast is raised or lowered.

  • Base price: 29,000.
  • Horsepower: 72.
  • Max speed: 43 kph, 27 mph.
  • Engine: Diesel.
  • Modder: Pascal Kautz.
  • Platforms: All.
